Workshop is the planned effort to help people learn behavior, attitude, skills, and knowledge necessary to manage one's personal/work/married lives in a healthy and productive manner. Workshops also enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.
People may learn many aspects of these skills from their actual life experiences gradually, but it would be of little or no use due to the repercussions faced by them due to the damages already done, because of their ineffective way of coping/behaving. For example, a couple may try to deal with their interpersonal differences through the knowledge they possess from what they learned from their parents, friends, other knowledge references etc. However, without proper expert intervention, and hand on experience of learning the adequate skills, their marriage would result either in marital discord, divorce or even suicide/homicides. Hence, these workshops are aimed to prepare people with required knowledge, skills and attitude in advance and equip them to deal with any challenges in life.
